Global HR M&A : Making the People Deal work
Supporting businesses through mergers & acquisitions, integrations and divestments, the People Advisory service can:
- Act as a ‘bridge’ between stakeholders associated with the deal, providing a confidential framework to eliminate delays to information provision, assessment, optioneering and ROI modelling, ensuring target integration strategy is defined and costed at deal concept.
- Provide an experienced, knowledgeable team at short notice, building and sustaining momentum from exploration, through people related due diligence, Day 1 planning, alignment and ultimate integration, transferring knowledge over the course of activity to BAU teams increasing consistency of future approach.
- Ensure increased speed and consistency of approach throughout the acquisition and/or integration project, reducing the risk of a group of disassociated new recruits requiring environmental alignment and agreement on team dynamics and practices.
- Provide assistance in realising the integration strategy through to implementation planning for current or legacy M&A activity.
- Fulfill the role of PMI People Lead (representing the collective PMI people network) from the outset of the M&A process. In collaboration with business partners, working with acquired business and internal stakeholders to determine integration strategy in line with business needs and target operating model.
- Introduce a cloud based microsite to support education and broker cultural transitions where applicable. Best practice cultural integration behaviours created and applied, ensuring greater visibility of integration challenges, enabling continuous improvements.
- Ensure early and consistent management of expectations of all stakeholders, through transition to BAU.
